Tree removal in Geelong

Whole trees taken down in sections where there is no room to fell them, the timber chipped or cut to length, and the lawn raked before the crew leaves.

Tree removal

What changes a removal

The same tree can be a short job on an open block and a full day between two houses. These are the things that make the difference.

How it works

From the first call to a clear garden

Nothing happens without a written quote you have agreed to.

  1. Tell us about the tree

Call or send the form with the tree and what is worrying you.

  2. A contractor comes to see it

A local tree contractor looks at the tree, the access and whatever sits underneath it, because a quote off a photo misses the things that change the job.

  3. A written quote

The quote sets out the scope, what happens to the timber and the stump, and the date. It is the contractor's quote, and nothing starts until you accept it.

  4. The work and the clean up

On the day the tree is dealt with as quoted, the green waste leaves on the truck and the lawn is raked.

Tree removal questions

What people ask before a tree comes down

Can the tree be felled in one piece?

Only where there is clear ground for the full height of the tree, which most house blocks do not have.

Is a storm damaged tree taken down differently?

A split trunk or a limb hung up in the crown is under load, so it is taken down more carefully than a sound tree. Say what happened when you call, so the contractor knows what they are walking into.

Do the roots come out too?

Not usually. The roots stay in the ground and break down over time.
